The company had its first infrastructure work for several coal mines near Hardin, Montana and Colstrip, Montana in the early nineties as seen in the picture of the 631 scraper. Today the company continues its work decades later providing critical expansion services to the same coal mines ensuring America’s energy security for the next century.

Mining infrastructure work in Montana as part of our five year Master Services Agreement with one of the largest mining companies in the world. The scope of work includes, road building, stripping, utility services, consulting, engineering, design, reclamation, on-demand equipment services and remediation. The work covers eight mining projects across the western USA.

The Company performed the clean up, remediation and reclamation of an exhausted mine at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Work included moving 22 million cubic yards of rock and earth to rehabilitate the mines’ pit and the former infrastructure of the site. The Company removed all toxic material from the site and graded the 16,000 acre site back to its natural state 6 months ahead of schedule.

The Company performed the clean up and remediation of a highly vulnerable wetland next to the Snake River in Idaho. An abandoned government site was leaking toxins into the water supply and contaminating several streams that drained into the Snake River. Under an emergency contract the BLM engaged the Company to clean up the abandoned site, the wetlands and remove and rebuild the contaminated area next to the river. Operating two 12 hour shifts the Company mitigated the damage 3 months ahead of an incredibly demanding schedule.

The Company constructed 42 miles of heavy industrial standard road and two bridges for an oil development in Montana. The contract included all multi plate and drainage structures throughout the length of the roads along with 10,000 tons of rip rap. All roads were then capped with a foot of aggregate produced by Company’s crushing operation in the area. The Company also built 9 drill sites in the area in the ongoing effort to keep America energy independent.

Over a four year period the company performed extensive grading and infrastructure work including remedial excavating and environmental clean up at the Salt Lake Airport. Scope of work included several hundred thousand tons of concrete removal and crushing, reusing the old concrete in the new runways, foundations and for base for the roads and new tarmacs.

BLM road upgrade near Boseman, Montana. Contract entailed 42 miles of earthmoving and improvements; straightening the highway, installing rip rip and flood structure upgrades. The project improved the highway to State and Federal standards and made it an all season highway.

The company working on an environmental clean up project near Glacier National Park in Montana. The job entails the remediation and clean up of an exhausted mine where the company is excavating 5,000,000 cubic yards of material and restoring the site for future use for campers, hikers, fishermen and hunters.

Grading and infrastructure work on Interstate 70 on the outskirts of Denver, Colorado. The Company excavated 12,000,000 cubic yards for the freeway expansion, the addition of several overpasses along with 3 miles of drainage channels. When complete it will greatly increase traffic flow for the rapidly growing area.

The Company graded the site for the Riverside Rail Belt in Riverside County, California. The project consisted of the excavation of 14 million cubic yards along with an additional 500,000 cubic yards of rock excavation. The project was for a larger marshalling yard for several railways including a new maintenance yard for Amtrack on the 400 acre project.

The Company graded 9 miles of Highway 212 in Yellowstone National Park from northern Wyoming into southern Montana. The road required several upgrades to meet both States highway standards along with eliminating some treacherous hills and hazardous corners. The much needed work was required for the increased traffic for the National Park which is one the most visited locations in America. The project included excavating 6 million cubic yards of rock and a further 3 million cubic yards of dirt. Project was fast tracked through the winter months completing the work two and a half months early and having it ready for another tourist season.

Grading on Interstate 70 through Fishlake National Forest in Utah. The Company graded 16 miles of freeway which included 9 million cubic yards of rock along with 2 million cubic yards of dirt. Two new exits were constructed along the Interstate for better access to the National Forest for both visitors and forestry personnel.

Grading work performed on Route 50 near El Dorado Hills, California. The project entailed 7 million cubic yards of excavation to widen the highway along with constructing 4 miles of frontage road and improvements to Placerville Road. The Scott Road Interchange was upgraded to State standards as well as to handle the additional traffic to the city.

The Company constructed 16 miles of highway improvements on Route 6 in Nevada. The project included straightening the highway to eliminate blind, dangerous curves, excavating back rock slopes, upgrade the drainage, add truck and passing lanes in both directions along with installing two multi-plates for the upgraded highway. The junction for Highway 264 was also upgraded as part of the contract.

The company’s road building project on Washington’s Highway 2.The job entailed 10 million cubic yards of excavation, 1.5 million cubic yards of rock excavation, 16 miles of highway realignment, widening, several multi-plates and the installation of 60,000 tons of rip rap along select embankments.

Construction of Highway 287 through Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. The company excavated 8 million cubic yards of material and 2 million cubic yards of rock for the project along with the construction of two bridges. The project was completed under the strictest environmental controls which was performed under the watchful eye of four Federal Agencies, three State and two County Departments.

Grading and infrastructure at the Dove Creek Mine in Alaska. Project includes constructing 22 miles of highway, site preparation and 28 milliion cubic yards of stripping, overburden removal and constructing the tailings dam.

Grading project of sixteen miles of highway through the Wasatch Mountains in Utah. Project entailed 14,000,000 cubic yards of excavation and 2,000,000 cubic yards of blasted rock.

Horizon Ridge planned community in Henderson, NV. Project included 13,000,000 cubic yards of excavation along with 6 miles of drainage channels and the installation of all the storm sewers for the development. The development was for 3,800 homes, 28 apartments and 8 retail centers.

Grading for SR89 in Northern California. Project included 12 miles of highway widening, bridge approaches, several truck pull outs and rest areas for Caltrans.

 

Grading for Pacific Homes in Las Vegas, NV 4,000,000 cubic yards of excavation along with 1,500,000 cubic yards of import and select grading.

 

Grading for expansion of the Indian Springs Air Force Base in Nevada. Widened the air strip and enlarged the tarmac and static areas. Project included 1,000,000 cubic yards of excavation and rock removal as well as the pouring of 75,000 cubic yards of concrete.

 

Grading for a John Laing Homes project in Simi Valley, California. 1,000,000 cubic yards of earth moving in addition to 200,000 cubic yards of blasted rock.

Select grading and backfilling on 27 miles of water pipeline for SNWD in the Las Vegas/Lake Mead area of Nevada.

Expansion of McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, NV. Project included 5,000,000 cubic yards of grading along with 300,000 cubic yards of caliche excavation and crushing. The work entailed widening the taxi ways, southern runway as well as grading for the new Federal Express terminal.

Grading for the I-215 expansion in Las Vegas, Nevada. Excavation was for 5 miles of new freeway in Henderson, Nevada along with several interchanges and overpasses.

Site preparation and subterranean excavating for the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Project was for 2,000,000 cubic yards of grading along with 400,000 cubic yards of drill and blast rock disposal.

Mining reclamation for Red Rock mine in Carlin, Nevada. Project consisted of 8,000,000 cubic yards of rock and dirt; and restoring the mined area to its original state with improved drainage and the construction of several ponds for the local wildlife.

Expansion and widening I-15 in Apex, Nevada. Work included storm drains, multi-plate installations, 2,000,000 cubic yards of excavation and 5 miles of AC paving.

Expansion of the Laughlin, Nevada/Bullhead City, Arizona Airport. This project included 2,000,000 cubic yards of grading and the installation of 10,000 cubic yards of concrete.

The Company’s highway upgrade and improvements on Highway 395 for Caltrans. The project included several lane widenings, four laning, exits, approaches and grading for additional frontage road. The project included 2 million cubic yards of blasted rock along with 2 million yards of excavation.

Grading work performed for highway widening on Interstate 50 near Lake Tahoe. Several miles were straightened out removing several blind and dangerous curves along with building rest stops on both sides of the highway. The project included the excavating of 5 million cubic yards of material and the installation of three 18 foot diameter multi-plates.

Stripping and mining for Industrial Aggregates Red Hills pit near Las Vegas, Nevada. The Company excavated 1 million cubic yards of waste material and 4 million cubic yards of river run for their crushing operation. Years later we performed the reclamation work on the site restoring the site to its natural state and re-seeded the area.

Excavating material from a borrow pit for Highway 97 in Oregon. The Company performed a contract in which we upgraded a 12 mile section of highway to Federal standards and graded 3 miles of railroad track for Union Pacific which was relocated.
